Mariah grew up in a town near Princeton, New Jersey. She graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Classical Civilization. Mariah had a summer internship at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she worked on the synthesis of pyrrolidines using ambiphilic reagents in an annulation reaction. She is currently a third year working on the development of an enantioselective allylboration to access guaianolide analogs as single enantiomers. In her free time, Mariah enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and kickboxing.
